Dollar Legal Statement and Privacy Policy

If you disagree with any part of this Statement during reading, immediately stop using Dollar platform services. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of all terms.

Dollar Platform: Includes Dollar website (domain: dollar.la) and clients.

Affiliated Companies: Refers individually or collectively to Dollar’s operators and related entities.

 

Legal Statement

Rights Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, all rights (including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets) to Dollar Platform content (text, images, audio, video, software, data) belong to Dollar or its affiliates. Unauthorized use (including monitoring, copying, or downloading via bots/spiders) is prohibited.

The Dollar logo, "Dollar" text/graphics, and other identifiers are trademarks of Dollar and affiliates in China and other countries. Unauthorized display or use is prohibited.

Liability Limitation

As an electronic bulletin board (BBS), product/store information (descriptions, images) is provided and uploaded by members, who bear full legal responsibility.

Reposted content (including forums) does not imply Dollar’s endorsement of its accuracy.

Intellectual Property Protection

Dollar respects intellectual property. Rights holders suspecting infringement may submit written notices via Dollar’s IP Protection Platform (dollar.la). Dollar will promptly process valid notices.

 

Privacy Policy

Dollar (hereinafter "we") respects and protects user privacy. When you use Dollar Platform services, we collect, use, and share your personal information per this policy. This policy covers our practices for handling your data. Read it fully to understand how to protect your privacy.

If you disagree with any provision, immediately stop using Dollar Platform services. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

 

Scope

This policy applies to all Dollar Platform services, including affiliated sites/clients without independent privacy policies.

Exclusion: Does not cover personal information provided to third-party sellers on Dollar.

With granted permissions, we collect:

When initiating communications, transactions, or shares via our services, you may independently choose recipients who, as third parties, may view related information including transaction details, contact methods, communication records, or shared content.

During online transactions using Dollar's platform services, disclosure of personal information (e.g., contact details or mailing addresses) to counterparties or potential counterparties is unavoidable. We strongly advise safeguarding your personal information and disclosing it to others only when necessary. Should your personal information be compromised—particularly account credentials or passwords—immediately contact Dollar Customer Support for remedial actions.

Publicly Available Information refers to any content you share publicly. Such information remains accessible to anyone, regardless of their Dollar usage status. For instance:

Opting out of "Anonymous Purchase" and/or "Anonymous Review" features during transactions will publicly disclose deal prices, transaction details, and review contents.

Certain information must be shared publicly to use Dollar's services. Examples include: credit ratings (e.g., hearts/diamonds/crowns) to foster trustworthy trading environments; business registration details (for enterprise sellers) or individual operator information (as required by applicable laws and Dollar's policies).

Critical Notice: Voluntarily shared information during service usage may involve your or others' personal/sensitive information (e.g., review images containing personal data). Exercise heightened caution when deciding to share or publicly disclose such content.

 

How We Share Information

We are committed to safeguarding your information and will not sell or provide it to third parties for their marketing purposes. Your personal data will not be shared with any external party except under the following circumstances:

4. External Processing

Trusted data processors may handle your information per our instructions, adhering to this policy and confidentiality/security measures to achieve declared purposes.

5. Dispute Resolution

Sharing is permitted when essential to resolve disputes, such as:

Disclosing complainant details to respondents in intellectual property cases;

Where any transacting party fulfills (in whole or part) obligations and submits an information request, Dollar may provide necessary details (e.g., counterparty contacts) to facilitate dispute resolution.

 

Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

Required by applicable laws (e.g., financial regulatory requirements)

Permitted for legitimate business purposes (e.g., dispute resolution)

 

How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information

Storage of Personal Information

1. Retention Period

Unless required by laws/regulations or mutual agreements, we retain your personal information only for the minimum period necessary to fulfill the stated purposes. Upon your active account deletion, we will promptly delete or anonymize your information per legal requirements.

2. Storage Locations

Your personal information will be stored on servers located in Laos, Singapore, or any jurisdiction we deem secure.

3. Service Termination

In the event of business discontinuation, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and subsequently delete or anonymize your personal information.

Protection of Personal Information

1. We use encryption protocols and software to secure data during transmission.

2. Physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards are implemented for data collection, storage, and disclosure.

3. You must protect your password against unauthorized access.

4. We employ industry-standard security measures (including encryption and renowned third-party services) to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your data.

5. Security Infrastructure: CDN services provided by Wangsu, Database security via Alibaba Cloud RDS

6. We take all reasonable steps to avoid collecting irrelevant personal information and retain data only for policy-defined purposes, unless extended retention is legally permitted.

7. Regular updates on security risk assessments and impact reports are publicly available. Contact customer service for access.

8. While no internet environment is 100% secure, we strive to protect your data. Breaches causing harm to your rights will incur legal liability.

9. Post-security incidents, we will notify you via email/letter/phone/push notifications about:

1) Incident details and potential impact

2) Remedial actions taken/planned

3) Risk mitigation recommendations

4) Compensation measures: If individual notification is impractical, public announcements will be issued. Regulatory authorities will be informed per requirements.

Your Rights

Per Chinese laws/regulations and international standards (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you hold the following rights:

1. Rectify Your Personal Information

1) If errors are identified in our processing of your data, you may request correction through the methods specified in "Accessing Your Personal Information".

2) If rectification via above channels fails, contact us via web form or email at service@dollar.la. We will respond within 30 days.

2. Delete Your Personal Information

You may request deletion under these circumstances:

1) illegal processing of your data

2) Collection/use without consent

3) Violation of agreements with you

4) Account deactivation or service discontinuation

5) Cessation of our service provision

Upon approving deletion requests, we will notify third parties who received your data to delete it—unless legally exempted or independently authorized by you. Deleted information may persist in backup systems until the next update.

3. Modify Authorization Scope

1) Core services require basic personal information. For additional data collection, you may grant/withdraw consent anytime.

2) Operation method: App Permission Management → Disable target permissions.

3) Withdrawing consent stops further processing but does not invalidate prior authorized processing.

4) To opt-out of marketing ads: Notification Settings → Promotional Messages → Disable.

4. Obtain Personal Information Copies

a) You have the right to access/copy your personal data via customer service.

b) Where technically feasible (e.g., API compatibility), we may transfer copies directly to third parties you designate.

 

Protection of Minors' Personal Information

Dollar prioritizes safeguarding minors' personal data. Our website and services primarily target adults. If you are a minor, we strongly advise:

1) Having your parents or guardians thoroughly review this Privacy Policy

2) Using our services or providing information only with verified parental/guardian consent

Where minors' personal information is collected with parental/guardian consent, we will use, share, transfer, or disclose such data exclusively under these circumstances:

1) Permitted by applicable laws/regulations

2) With explicit parental/guardian authorization

3) When necessary to protect the minor's vital interests

Should we discover collection of minors' personal information without verifiable prior parental/legal guardian consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such data promptly.

 

Account Deactivation

1) Prerequisites for Deactivation

Your account must satisfy all following conditions:

No outstanding debts

No pending orders or unpaid completed services

No active disputes (e.g., complaints/investigations)

Account in normal status with no restriction records

2) Deactivation Procedure

Navigate: Me → Settings → Account Deactivation

Steps:

Read and check the Account Deactivation Agreement

Click "Confirm" for secondary verification

3) Post-Deactivation Data Retention

The following data will be temporarily retained for 30 days before permanent deletion:

Account credentials & identity information

Transaction records

Private data

Unused credits/vouchers/points

4) Account Restoration

Deactivation timestamp will be displayed Within 30 days.

Contact customer service for restoration

Post-restoration: Allow 3 business days for full reactivation

5) Data Anonymization Protocol

Upon deactivation:

All associated orders undergo data masking

User account/name/phone number replaced with "Deactivated"

Backend records permanently dissociate from personal identifiers

 

Notifications and Revisions: How This Policy Updates

We may periodically update this Legal Notice and Privacy Policy at our discretion. The revised policy shall take effect after being announced through Dollar's platform or other appropriate durable methods. By continuing to use our services thereafter, you expressly consent to be bound by the revised version.

To align with evolving service enhancements, our operations may change accordingly. This Privacy Policy will be adjusted in tandem, with updated versions published on Dollar's website and mobile applications.

 

Dispute Resolution and Contact Information

Should you have complaints or reports regarding our personal information processing practices, you may:

Our Commitment:

•Verify your identity within 5 business days

•Provide a substantive response and resolution proposal within 30 days of verification

If dissatisfied with our resolution—particularly when believing your legal rights have been infringed—you may initiate litigation at the competent court in the defendant's domicile.
